At WEV we commonly perform pre-purchase examinations on a wide range of horses. Commonly these include high level sport horses with very comprehensive examinations, but we also perform examinations on Thoroughbred horses for racing or breeding as well as pony club or riding horses of lesser value. We tailor our examinations to the requirements of the purchaser and in all cases provide written reports. Depending on the horse, the results of the examination and the requests of the purchaser we may perform ancillary tests which can include x-rays (either of specific parts or screening), endoscopy, ultrasound, drug screening, blood tests and other specialised tests.
